Look forward with us to the 74th festival season from 27 July to 4 August – the motto is "... boundless ..." This year’s festival focuses, as always, on artists, especially those who know no boundaries, who bring people together and create space for our emotions and thoughts to soar to new heights ...

Supporters & Partners

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our supporters and partners. Many thanks to our public supporters whose grants lay the foundation for the festival, its artistic excellence and our unique programs. We are likewise grateful to our project supporters and sponsors whose financial assistance provide the opportunity to experiment with new programs. Just as important is our cultural media partner who for many years has joined us in the success of the festival. We thank our cooperative partners for their loyal and dependable collaboration.

About us

The Hitzacker Summer Music Festival is Germany’s oldest chamber music festival, and at the same time remarkably young at heart. Every summer, starting on the last Saturday in July, the festival transforms this picturesque half-timbered town into a hotspot of cultural interaction.
