Anda Kryeziu (Komposition)

Anda Kryeziu (1993*) – Composer and interpreter from Kosovo. She studied at the Conservatoire of Music in Prishtina and later continued her studies at the Bern University of the Arts and Luzern University of Arts. She completed her master’s degree in piano with Konstantin Lifschitz and composition with Dieter Ammann. In 2011 she was a scholarship holder of Basler Orchester Society, Atdta Foundation etc.

The music of Kryeziu was performed by diverse ensembles, such as: Ensemble Asamisimasa (Oslo), “Soyuz21” (Switzerland), Ensemble Sherazade (Germany / Switzerland), Ensemble Sargo (Lausanne), Ensemble Lunaire (Lucerne), Soloist Anna d’Errico (Italy); and in the following festivals: „Zeiträume“ Basel, “Mostra Sonora”-Sueca-Spain; “Aufwind”-Vienna; “New Music Days-Lucerne (2015 & 2016); “DAM Festival” Prishtina; “Leicht über Linz”-Linz.

The focus of her works emphasises a variety on the musical medium and approaches. Her works include instrumental music with and without live electonics, acousmatic music, multimedia and theatre musicale. She is currently continuing her studies in composition at the Basel Music Academy the class of Caspar Johannes Walter.
