Ari Rabenu (Komposition)
Ari Rabenu was born in Jerusalem, Israel in 1990. He graduated in 2016 with a B.Mus degree in Composition and Music Education from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University where he studied in the class of Dan Yuhas. During his bachelor studies at the BMSOM Ari received several times the Award of Excellence.
In June 2016 Ari received the Award of Excellence of the Dean of the Arts, Tel Aviv University. Later that year his piece “Disillusionments” for symphony orchestra won first prize at the yearly BMSOM composition competition.
Currently Ari is studying towards his M.Mus degree at the BMSOM in the class of Ruben Seroussi. He has been a recipient of the Colton Family Scholarship for two consecutive years.
Several of Ari’s compositions have been performed by Israeli ensembles such as the Meitar Ensemble, the Israel Netanya Kibbutz Orchestra, and the BMSOM Symphony Orchestra.
