One of the most important contemporary composers performing his own compositions and those of the revered Mozart – for this special occasion, Jörg Widmann has invited a group of top musicians to join him. Mozart's A major clarinet quintet, written in the first year of the French Revolution, is generally considered to be one of the most beautiful works in the history of chamber music.
